 Welcome To SailingBreaks in Scotland
watch the day break
"Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover". © Mark Twain

Here at SailingBreaks in Largs Yacht Haven, Scotland on the sheltered and beautiful Firth of Clyde, we share Mark Twain's adventurous spirit. From just £195, including all food and drink, you can sail 'Brandy of Troon' our modern 36ft quality charter yacht built by British yacht builders, Moody.

All SailingBreak holidays have the bonus of your own experienced Skipper on board to show you the ropes and help you find the best scenery, safest anchorages, prettiest harbours and, of course, the best pubs and restaurants in this stunning Scottish location.

A Typical Day on Board
Watch the day break at a spectacular location. Enjoy breakfast on deck before preparing to sail for a new horizon. Hoist the sails to experience the thrill of navigating to your chosen lunch time anchorage. Take a break from the helm and enjoy lunch as you discover new wildlife at sea. Use the afternoon as an opportunity to relax or perhaps catch your crew mates a fresh fish supper! Many of our customers like to use their SailingBreak charter to learn some seamanship from our Skipper Andy, an experienced sailor and fully qualified Commercial Yachtmaster® and RYA® Yachtmaster® Instructor. Some of our crew go on to make sailing their passion and take formal RYA® (Royal Yachting Association) sailing qualifications. Your day ends with a hearty supper, and glass of wine, gazing upon a spectacular sunset, in a safe mooring, shared with like minded crew members.

Would a Sailing Break suit you?
Many of our customers have never sailed before. The idea is to try a fun sailing weekend in the beautiful and sheltered waters of the Firth of Clyde. We are sure you'll be back for another Sailing Break soon...
