'Brandy of Troon', your home during your SailingBreak, is a modern 36ft, 7 berth quality yacht built in 1999 by famous British yacht builders Moody. Her designer, Bill Dixon, was so impressed by her stable and safe characteristics he bought one himself! She is fully certified to MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency), category 2 standard and offers very comfortable accommodation for 4 or 5 crew plus Skipper. She is maintained to a very high standard by her Skipper, Andy Taylor. The centre cockpit arrangement keeps her crew well protected from sea spray and provides an aft deck free for fishing and relaxing. This aft deck is also a handy perch for the skipper to keep out of the way of a crew keen to sail the yacht themselves.

On Deck
Her sloop rig with high boom ensures safe tacking and gybing. Main and jib sheet controls are by the helmsman, providing total control from behind the wheel.
Lazy Jacks and stack pack make raising and dropping the fully battened main sail easy for novice sailors.
Jack stays run the length of both decks ensuring a safe place to 'clip on'.
All reefing lines come back to the cockpit providing quick and safe reefing procedures.
The head sail is roller reefed ensuring this powerful sail can be reefed quickly from the safety of the cockpit.
A new 2006 inflatable dinghy and Honda outboard motor are carried to take us ashore, when at anchor, or simply have fun in!

Below Deck
'Brandy's' main saloon seats five or six for dining comfortably.
All cabins have central heating, reading lights, natural light hatches, hanging wardrobe and lockers.
The galley boasts twin sinks with Corian® work surface, fridge, ice box, oven with hob and grill.
The 4 cabins sleep 2 in the forepeak, 2 in the aft cabin, 1 in the pilot cabin and 1 or 2 in the saloon.
Rare on charter yachts, Brandy is carpeted throughout providing protection for her holly and teak cabin sole and a snug atmosphere for her crew.
The 'heads' (bathroom) is exceptionally spacious and includes a hot shower.
