Hydaway – Your home at sea
Specially for couples who would prefer not to share the delights of the Inner and Outer Hebrides with other crew mate sailors. It doesn’t mean you are unsociable, its just that you want to share the special seascapes and Scottish marine venues with that special person! Your personal home for the week is Hydaway, a Nicholson 476 modern classic in yacht design. Your cabin has a double bunk and a single bunk, in case a junior extension of your family insists on keeping an eye on Mum and Dad. It also has private electronically operated heads en suite (loo in case you were wondering). A private hot shower is also en suite to your large cabin.
Skipper & Hostess
Meet Gary and Gail, who will make your sailing holiday special. Each Cruising Couple are looking different things from their holiday aboard Hydaway. Gary and Gail understand this. You will find them happy to just act as your B & B host, cleaning the loo and tidying up while you take the helm. Alternatively they are always keen to guide the total novice in the safest way to handle a yacht.Their extensive sailing experience is always on board for you to call upon.
Your private charter begins on a Sunday and ends lunch time Friday, 6 days in total. Dates are available right throughout the year, simply contact Andy Taylor on 07581 698077 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book your exclusive use of Hydaway for a week of historic castles, abundant sea life, whisky distillery tours and local festivals. Of course as a private charter it is always your choice of venue. The islands of Islay, Mull, Iona, Jura, Colonsay, Oronsay, Coll, Tiree and many more are easily achievable within the 6 days. Remote anchorages, lively marinas or relaxing on the Crinan Canal as you cruise to Loch Fyne, the choice is yours……

Your week aboard includes all bedding towels so you don’t have to bring them up. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner aboard. All gas, fuel and boat consumables.
Whats Not Included
Marina fees are paid by you once you depart the Crinan Canal. These are typically £30 per night but of course anchoring is free and always more enjoyable! Alcohol isn’t provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Please note alcohol can’t be consumed on passage, only when you are anchored up or tied up for lunch or the evening.
Can We Bring a Larger Group
Yes its possible with 2 comfortable additional berths available in the saloon. This means your group could total 5 people. However be aware that the saloon guests would need to access the en suite heads in your private cabin.
